Best known for nostalgic scenes of quaint country life and times gone by, I strive to touch the hearts and souls of those who embrace simplicity and joy.

For the past 18 years, my artwork has been licensed for a wide range of products including but not limited to - fabric collections, children’s games and puzzles, home and garden decor, and the gift industry. Below is a sample of my work.

My artwork process for watercolor and gouache

I begin by seeking inspiration from my faith, country surroundings, farm life, and vintage home decor. I then sketch out my ideas the old-fashioned way - with pencil on paper - then paint the elements of all of my collections by hand in watercolor and gouache, adding colored pencil touches along the way. The elements are then scanned as individual layers and composed in Affinity Photo and Designer software where edits and arrangements can easily be made. All artwork is exported as a PSD file for seamless use between artist and client.

My artwork process for mixed media

My mixed media artwork is filled with interesting layers of color and whimsy.
Created on either paper or canvas, each piece starts out with a underpainting, then a painted sketch, then the fun of collaged papers, stencils, and mark making begins!
My mixed media subjects most often include whimsical florals and still life scenes.
